Asian & Commonwealth Games: Indian Medals & Host Records

The Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games represent the two premier multi-sport competitions outside the Olympic Games in which India participates. The Asian Games originated from the Asian Games Federation, established in New Delhi in 1949 under Guru Dutt Sondhi and Maharaja Yadavindra Singh of Patiala.
